Ihjiz is used at reception desks, on phones between appointments, and by customers of every age. We want it to work for people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or voice control, in Arabic as well as English. This statement says where we are and how to reach us when something does not work.

1.Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA across this website, the business portal, the customer portal, public booking pages and the staff mobile apps.

2.What we have done

  • Semantic HTML with proper headings, landmarks, labels and table headers, so screen readers can navigate.
  • Every control reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus state.
  • Colour contrast that meets AA in both light and dark themes, and status conveyed by text or shape as well as colour.
  • Full right-to-left layout for Arabic, not a mirrored afterthought: reading order, icons, tables, calendars and forms all follow the language.
  • Respect for the operating system's reduced-motion setting; no content depends on animation.
  • Text that scales with browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content, and layouts that work at phone widths.
  • Data tables with sortable headers announced to assistive technology, and long lists with keyboard-accessible row actions.

3.Known limitations

We are honest about the gaps. These are the ones we know about and are working on:

  • Dragging an appointment on the calendar has a keyboard alternative through the appointment's edit form, but the drag interaction itself is not keyboard-operable.
  • Generated PDF exports and printed receipts are not yet tagged for screen readers. The same data is available in accessible tables and spreadsheet exports.
  • Payment forms are provided by our payment providers inside the page; their accessibility is theirs, and it varies.
  • Some third-party content that businesses embed — maps, videos — may not meet AA.
  • Automated checks run on every release, but we have not yet had an independent accessibility audit.

4.Tell us

If something in Ihjiz is hard or impossible for you to use, write to support@ihjiz.co with the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you use. We reply within 5 business days, and accessibility defects are prioritised alongside functional bugs, not behind them.

5.Enforcement and complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the accessibility or digital-rights authority in your country. We will cooperate with any such body.
